The Primary job responsibilities for ENCO Specialist consist of providing first point of contact to Traffic, Programming and Production on all ENCO Automation related issues. As the first point of contact, you will research and determine the problem(s) and steps required to correct any issues brought to your attention by the various departments as they pertain to the ENCO System. As part of this you will be on-call status for any alarms that are signaled that pertain to the ENCO System and loss of audio, signal, missing logs and issues pertaining to live remotes and other live features that require support to correct any issues in the ENCO System. On-call means that you may be contacted any time day or night to look into and resolve issues or alarms as needed. Issues can be resolved in a matter of minutes to 30-60 minutes on rare occasions. As such, you are expected to be responding to alarms in a timely manner and be ready to perform the tasks necessary to correct any issues that are found.
Additionally, from time to time you will be asked to assist in Radio Production. This may include conceptualizing, producing, writing, and editing creative service materials for promotion, sales, and special projects for the stations on-air and digital media products. Additional responsibilities include making any necessary changes to radio spots as needed.
