The CE will manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of studio, transmitting and ancillary equipment in order to maintain a competitive signal within the market, while complying with all FCC technical requirements. This person will be responsible for telecommunications, networking systems, computer, and IT desktop support.
The main focus of this role will be maintaining station operations, control consuls, audio routers, recording equipment, microphones, digital audio systems, AM/FM transmitters, antennas, control systems, remote equipment, and other broadcast related equipment. This requires the compliance with FCC rules and regulations, department budgeting, and the ability to be on-call as needed.
Minimum Position Requirements:
5+ years’ experience as a Chief Broadcast Engineer in radio. An Assistant CE will be considered with tenured experience of at least 7+ years in a larger radio operation.
Valid Driver’s license, use of vehicle with insurance, and clean driving record is required.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary and lift 60lbs or more.
