Jobs in the Newsroom

A newsroom is the central place where journalists—reporters, editors, and producers, associative producers, news anchors, associate editor, residence editor, visual text editor, assignment editor along with other staffs—work to gather news to be broadcast on radio and television.

Getting hired as a journalist, anchor or editor usually require a degree in broadcasting or communications. But many jobs on the floor of the newsroom might be available to entry level applicants who are willing to work and be trained.
