Midwest Communications, Inc., a family-owned radio group in business for 50 plus years, is accepting applications for a Market Manager with strong sales credentials to oversee our Lansing, MI cluster.
If you can drive revenue, increase profits and grow our brands while controlling expenses, we want to hear from you.
Key responsibilities will be:
- To lead and develop a winning team by providing leadership and direction to sales, programming, engineering, administrative and web along with support staff including training and supervision, and development of a skilled, motivated and winning workforce.
- This individual will set and ensure achievement of budgets, goals and operational objectives. The ability to develop and execute strategies to respond to customer and listener needs, market demands and competitive opportunities utilizing various programming and sales resources is required.
We are looking for a leader with a minimum of 5 years of proven management experience in a competitive environment, who is as excited about radio’s future as we are; not just audio, but digital and mobile as well. Applicants need strong financial and budgetary skills, as well as excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to motivate others and work under pressure is required.
