Townsquare Media Trenton (New Jersey 101.5 FM and WPST 94.5 FM) is looking for a dynamic sales executive to join our media and digital advertising team! You will be selling local advertising for our innovative stations & all of its platforms, plus programmatic digital advertising and website platforms that include development, SEO and mobilization of sites.

Responsibilities:

Prospect for qualified local and regional businesses; conduct thorough Customer Needs Analysis (C N A); present and close appropriate marketing solution programs. These programs may include any of Townsquare Media’s many assets for clients: Broadcast and Online radio, digital products such as display, streaming, loyalty programs, e-commerce, audience extension and digital marketing services.

Leverage our live event platform through sponsorship and sales programs to new and existing clients.

Create new relationships with local and regional businesses in our area.

Work with local and corporate marketing teams to develop campaign support materials.

Responsible to accurately project revenues, meet and exceed monthly budgets for all product lines and overachieve annual budgets.

Enter new customer data and other sales contract details for station clients.

Follow accountability set forth by your Sales Manager to help guide you to success achieving monthly sales quotas consistently.

Provide insight and value to executive management to shape the future of our organization.

Qualifications:

Goal oriented, a strong work ethic and a strong desire to learn.

Previous sales experience. A history of success with customers and a proven ability to develop and grow revenue.

Knowledge and experience with digital media.

The successful candidate will be smart, curious, tenacious, entrepreneurial, independent, passionate, and enthusiastic, and work with urgency to meet deadlines.

Accomplished at prospecting and qualifying.

Ability to engage clients quickly and develop rapport, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Associates/Bachelor’s business/marketing-related degree or equivalent experience.

Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and vehicle required.

Production Assistant/Graphics Operator

The Production Assistant is responsible for various television production duties required to record scenes for live and recorded broadcasts.

·         Composes and frames camera shots, applying the technical aspects of light, lenses and camera settings to achieve the effects sought by directors

·         Adjusts positions and controls of cameras to change focus, exposure and lighting as requested by the director

·         Operates studio cameras during live broadcasts

·         Operates remote cameras during live broadcasts

·         Confers with directors and other crew members to discuss sequences, desired effects, camera movements and lighting requirements

·         Sets up cameras and related equipment

·         Tests, cleans, maintains and repairs camera equipment

·         Produces graphics for newscast

·         Creates graphics for the newscast

KOBI-TV NBC5 is seeking a full time Chief Meteorologist to join our NBC5 News team. We are a Weather Company station providing excellent graphics and tools for our weather team. Job duties for this position include:

Gathering meteorological information from weather services and satellite feeds
Presenting informative and dynamic weathercasts during daily newscasts
Preparing computer-generated weather reports using a weather graphics system
Radio weather reporting
Live remote reporting
Daily use of social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
Reporting on news weather events, as required

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday Friday 2:30 11:30pm. Our benefits package includes: medical, dental, vision, 401K retirement plan, health care spending account, life insurance, short term disability, paid sick leave, paid vacations, and paid holidays. To qualify for this position, you must have:

College degree and/or equivalent meteorology degree
2 years of on air weather experience
Knowledge of meteorology, weather gathering, and associated equipment
The ability to professionally report news on-air
Writing, editing, organizational and reporting skills

KOBI-TV NBC5/KOTI-TV NBC2 is licensed by the FCC; therefore, we must follow federal guidelines.
