Traffic & Revenue Manager – Four Corners Radio Cluster

The Traffic and Revenue Manager – Four Corners Radio Cluster is responsible for overseeing regional radio traffic operations and supporting revenue-related workflows for the Four Corners (4C) region. This role ensures the accurate execution of advertising schedules, timely order entry, and effective coordination between sales, traffic, clients, and the business office.

This position is traffic-first, with primary responsibility for traffic execution and operational accuracy, while also serving as a key support resource for client billing assistance, payment coordination, and basic accounts receivable (AR) efforts. The Traffic and Revenue Manager exercises independent judgment in prioritizing work, resolving discrepancies, and improving operational workflows to support revenue accuracy and client satisfaction.

This role may be eligible for remote work, based on experience and operational needs.

Primary Responsibilities

Traffic Operations & Regional Support

  • Manage and enter all incoming traffic orders for the Four Corners region
  • Maintain accurate schedules, copy instructions, and traffic records within radio traffic systems
  • Coordinate with sales and programming teams to ensure the correct execution of advertising schedules
  • Serve as a primary traffic and operational support contact for Four Corners clients
  • Review orders for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with contractual terms
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve traffic discrepancies
  • Ensure traffic execution aligns with company policies and operational standards
  • Coverage of other Hutton Broadcasting market traffic needs, as required

Client Billing Assistance & Payment Coordination

  • Assist clients with billing-related inquiries, including invoice clarification and payment status questions
  • Support payment collection efforts by coordinating with clients regarding outstanding balances and payment timelines
  • Work collaboratively with the business office to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
  • Review client accounts to ensure consistency between traffic execution and billing records
  • Assist with basic accounts receivable (AR) activities, including follow-up communication and documentation
  • Escalate complex billing or collection issues as appropriate while maintaining positive client relationships

Revenue & Account Support

  • Act as a liaison between clients, sales, traffic, and the business office to support smooth revenue workflows in the Four Corners market
  • Assist in auditing accounts and identifying discrepancies that may impact billing or revenue
  • Support alignment between traffic schedules, invoicing, and revenue accuracy
  • Communicate proactively to prevent revenue-related issues and delays

Operational Oversight & Workflow Optimization

  • Support traffic optimization efforts and workflow planning
  • Assist in identifying inefficiencies and recommending process improvements
  • Maintain organized documentation and records in accordance with company policies
  • Provide operational support to team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of regional traffic and revenue operations

Cross-Department Collaboration

Sales & Account Executives

  • Coordinate closely to ensure orders are entered accurately and executed as sold. Support Account Executives with the resolution of client inquiries related to traffic execution and billing coordination

Business Office

  • Collaborate on billing support, payment coordination, and account review efforts
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies between traffic records and billing data

Programming & Operations

  • Ensure traffic schedules align with programming requirements and operational standards
  • Communicate changes or issues that may impact on-air execution

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in radio traffic operations and traffic systems
  • Strong foundational understanding of billing, payments, or accounts receivable processes
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client relationship skills
  • Ability to manage priorities independently in a remote or office-based environment
  • Ability to work and communicate with the team effectively
